Setting Browser Options

Introduction

Use the Options menu to set personal preferences.

How to set the Compare command

ÿ To set the Compare command that you want to use with Utilities | Compare With Previous Version and Version | Compare:

1. Select Options | Compare Command.
2. In the Compare Command window, specify the desired compare command, and then click OK. The default command appears in the text box.

How to set the default editor

ÿ To set the default editor:

1. Select Options | Editor.
2. In the Editor dialog box, specify the desired file type and editor, and click OK.

How to change the Browser font

ÿ To change the Browser font:

1. Select Options | Font.
2. In the Browser Font window, select the font family, style, and size, and then click OK.

How to set the default previewer

The default previewer is used during document generation to view document objects such as encapsulated PostScript (EPS) files.

ÿ To set the default previewer:

1. Select Options | Previewer.
2. From the Context list in the Previewer dialog box, select a context in which to use the previewer.

   The default previewer for this context appears in the text box.

3. Specify the desired previewer, and then click OK.

How to set the default viewer

The default previewer is used during document generation to view document objects that are ASCII files.

ÿ To set the default viewer:

1. Select Options | Viewer.
2. From the Context list in the Viewer dialog box, select a context in which to use the viewer.

   The default viewer for this context appears in the text box.

3. Specify the desired viewer, and then click OK.

How to set the default internet browser

In the UML suite, Help | Telelogic on the Web displays Telelogic AB web pages in your internet browser. On Windows, the UML suite uses the default browser associated with HTML files. On UNIX, the UML suite uses the browser specified by Options | Internet Browser.

ÿ To set the default internet browser for UNIX platforms:

1. Select Options | Internet Browser.
2. Specify the desired browser, and then click OK.
