Lorem ipsum

TeX je sádzací systém, ktorý vytvoril pán Donald E. Knuth so zámerom vytvárať na pohľad pekné knihy - a zvlášť knihy ktoré obsahujú matematiku. Hovorí sa, že k myšlienka TeXu ho napadla po dokončení jeho slávnej knihy The Art of Computer Programming - keď zistil, že sadzači v tlačiarni sformovali niektoré stránky tejto knihy nie celkom podľa jeho predstáv. Jeho práca na TeXu sa začala asi v roku 1977 a prvá použiteľná verzia bola vypustená v roku 1982. Ďalšia väčšia zmena sa udiala v roku 1989, keď bola vylepšená podpora 8-bitových písmen a cudzích jazykov. Dôležitou vlastnosťou je to, že TeX je zadarmo, dokonca sú sprístupnené aj jeho zdrojové kódy.
