8-10. May, 2009, Abaújszántó, Hungary

The Czech and Slovak workshop on Relational Data Mining will be held at Abaújszántó, Hungary. Abaújszántó is a small town in Northern Hungary. It belongs to the famous Tokaj-Hegyalja wine district.

The idea of the workshop was born on the 16th International Conference on Inductive Logic Programming in the minds of few researchers on ILP from Czech and Slovak Republic. The first idea was to make a workshop on ILP on which the researchers can discuss in their mother languages and further, the workshop proceedings can be used also as a study material in Czech and Slovak schools, universities. Then, on the conference Znalosti 2007 the topic of the workshop was enlarged from ILP to Relational Data Mining. Since all the mentioned researchers like good wines, the most famous wine region of Central Europe was chosen as the workshop venue. RDM 2007
